Phoenix is Phil's pick out of Kia's first litter sired by the awesome running FlyBoy (Are But Not's Frequent Flyer). A great combination of her parents with the coursing intensity of both. Our little "Sunshine" finished her Championship easily, and her coursing titles easily as well. At the 2016 AKC National Lure Coursing Championship, she was awarded Best In Field at the second day's trial, and Best of the Best to run for the NLCC Event, narrowly missing the National title.
Our plans to have her spend time in the whelping box was unfortunately nixed, when it was determined that she had cataracts. She has since been spayed and is mostly retired, but will make the occasional appearance on the coursing field.
